Pokémon Go, Real World Pokémon game for iOS and Android
Pokémon will introduce a future gaming with a new Pokémon GO augmented-reality game and a wearable accessory Pokémon GO Plus device. Tsunekazu Ishihara, the CEO of The Pokémon Company, said in a press conference that he had been working on Pokémon Go with late Nintendo CEO Satoru Iwata for around two years. The late Nintendo CEO Satoru Iwata said, “I understand that, unlike the package model for dedicated game systems, the free-to-start type of business model is more widely adopted for games on smart devices, and the free-to-start model will naturally be an option for us to consider. On the other hand, Nintendo does not intend to choose payment methods that may hurt Nintendo’s brand image or our IP, which parents feel comfortable letting their children play with.”
