They say that it would never catch on, but the Galaxy note 4 was on its 4 yrs since the original Galaxy note phablet with the 4th generation device- The Samsung Galaxy Note 4.

The Galaxy Note’s big screen and S pen stylus are assuredly not for anyone else. The Galaxy S5 and galaxy Alpha offer a more trending smart phone set up. The Galaxy note 4 brings it together big screen, big productivity and big power.

At over $800, £600 SIM free the Samsung Galaxy note 4 was unbelievably raise the market at launch. A few months have passed now and the price has dropped a bit, from almost AU$960 to around $700, £500 if you don’t want to tied down to a contract. In the contract on UK a free handset will now see you shell out upwards of £33 per months for two years. It is extent investment.

Features

Unlike the premature three iterations Samsung hasn’t deemed it necessary to adjust the screen size of the Note 4. It sticks with the same 5.7 inch dimension of Galaxy note 3 but it’s not the same screen thought, as Samsung has grant the Galaxy note 4 a heavy resolution boost. When it comes to design Samsung has definitely listened about its latest line-up feeling plastic in the hand and has decided to give the Note 4 more of a premium finish.

The metal frame surrounding the handset that shielding the rest of the chassis likes a velvet rope, to guard celebs from real people in a club. It sports exactly the same style, rounded corners and shape as the Galaxy Alpha, only on bigger scale and thanks to increase size the plastic rear is more noticeable here than it is on Alpha.

Samsung gives a leather effect finish to make the removable plastic cover feel more premiums, but still there is no fooling your hand your hand with that unmistakable texture. It still all plastic on the back. An additional side to this though is the plastic rear does to make available good grip- vital when you’ve got such a large handset in your hand and even though the Note 4 is a touch wider than the all metal iPhone 6 Plus, you’ll find the Note 4 is easier to hold.

Screen

Even though iPhone 6 Plus has a smaller screen (5.5-inch display), it’s actually taller than the Galaxy note 4- something else the Samsung has over its Apple rival as it makes the phone more balanced in the hand. Add to the placement of the power/lock key on the right of the Galaxy note 4 and you find that even for a large phone the key buttons are still easy enough to reach if you have larger palms. The phone measures 153.5 x 78.6 x 8.5mm and almost the same as its predecessor and smaller in width and depth than the Note 2, which is awe considering this is the first of the Note series to sport a metal frame.

If you’re already acclimated to the larger league of smart phones then Galaxy note 4 will feel home right in your palm. You will really like the way the Note 4 feels in your hand and having used the Note 3 on a number of occasions, it positively feels different and refined enough. Plus its light too, the weight is just like Note 3 (176g).

Samsung’s tried and tested home keys still resides at the bottom of the screen, to take measure with due foresight for the Korean firm to stuff in its fingerprint scanner and that’s flanked by two touch keys.

To the left side of home key button is the Multi-tasking key, and the back button is still in the right side. Both buttons are completely hidden when not illuminated by the backlight, giving a clean finish to the front of Note 4. At back of these is a LED flash, 16MP camera and the heart rate monitor which is also feature on Note 4, Galaxy Alpha and S5 mini.

Behind the removable rear cover there’s a micro SD slot, microSIM port and 3220mAh battery. In the bottom corner you’ll also notice the end of the S Pen stylus hiding inside the body of Note 4.

Samsung is finally proving the build quality its top-end devices have been yearning for. Also has managed to keep the dimension manageable, a certainly a lot easier to hold and a boasts a bigger, better screen and very similar dimension. Then, Note handset with the most premium and accomplished look and feel to date.
